What a day we had yesterday. We started by walking along Lake Michigan and discovered beautiful sand beaches. It was windy but not too cold.
Then we walked down to the river to see the bridges and architecture. We stumbled across The Merchandise Mart. Majo was in heaven! 4.2 million Square feet of interior design showrooms. Absolutely amazing. It was difficult to get her out but the thought of a river tour did the trick.
90 minutes of guided architecture tour by Alex from Wendella company was just fantastic. He loves this city and could tell you everything about this city.
After all this we needed a drink so we found a nice Italian restaurant before heading to Eddie V for dinner. The food was outstanding and we stayed until closing. Good food and great company.
Off to Iowa we go.
