After a good night sleep we woke up early and jumped back on the road to the “Grotto of the redemption” in West Bend IA. The best place to be on an Easter Sunday… Further west we stopped at “Sioux Falls” for a little walk. The “Badland national park” was the highlight of the day! A quick look at “Wall Drug“ and finally arriving at the “Sweetgrass Inn” in Rapid City. We both are totally done after a 600 miles drive today. Good night!

On the road again! We left the “Windy City” early and headed west. A lunch break at Jason’s Clubhouse at one of the oldest Golf clubs in the country. After an 8 hours drive through nowhere we arrived in West Bend, Iowa. Found our place to stay over night in a former nuns monastery.

We explored Chicago with its architectural jewels on foot in the morning and on boat in the afternoon. We ended the day with a great dinner at Eddie V’s Seafood. Remember the name when you visit Chicago next! It’s awesome!
