We made it to our first stop. Philly. It was rainy and I had to learn how to drive a pick up truck. 😉 parked it perfectly.
We took a walking tour and saw Betsy Ross House. Betsy was the first person to sow an American flag. She was a quaker and worked against her odds.
We learned the meaning of the colors on the flag and the huge impact yellow fever had.
After the culture we needed a drink so no surprise we found an Irish pub followed by an Italian restaurant.
Tomorrow we are off to see Liberty Bell and see how America was built.
